Friends of Smyrna USA

Friends of Smyrna USA is the United States affiliate for the Smyrna Fellowship Trust which is an established public trust in India dedicated to helping disadvantaged members of the community lead more enriching and fulfilled lives.

The Smyrna Fellowship Trust is based on the campus of Smyrna Home in Ootacamund, India, popularly known as Ooty. Since 1985, when the trust was established, we have financially helped more than 1,000 children attend school who would otherwise not have been able to afford it. We provide education, shelter, healthcare and employment to hundreds of children and adults every year. We offer care for the disabled, educational assistance for students and a home for the abandoned elderly, which sadly is a common occurrence in India. We are thrilled that this makes an incredible difference to the lives of many people across the Nilgiri region.
